Competitive Base Bonus 401K with match Benefits PTO Job Details Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation to clients in various family law matters including but not limited to divorce, custody disputes, child support, alimony, and property division. - Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal correspondence. - Conduct thorough case analysis and develop effective case strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for clients. - Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law and advise clients accordingly. - Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure excellent client service. - Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics. - Contribute to the firm's business development efforts by networking, building relationships with potential clients, and participating in community and professional organizations. Qualifications: - Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. - Licensed to practice law in the state. - A minimum of 2 years of experience in family law with a focus on divorce and custody cases. - Strong understanding of family law and court procedures. - Excellent legal research and writing skills. - Proven track record of effectively representing clients in court and achieving successful outcomes. - Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines and priorities. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a favorable manner for clients. - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel. - Strong commitment to client service and to upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
