Overseeing and managing all warehouse activities, ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively in line with company policies and procedures. 2. Implementing and maintaining safety standards in accordance with regulatory requirements, ensuring strict compliance at all times. 3. Coordinating and monitoring the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials. 4. Organizing and maintaining inventory and storage area, ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity by carefully managing physical counts and bin locations. 5. Training, guiding, and evaluating warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and boosts morale. 6. Implementing operational policies and procedures to increase productivity and performance levels. 7. Managing relationships with transport companies and suppliers, ensuring a smooth flow of goods to and from the warehouse. 8. Planning and coordinating logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments. 9. Regularly reviewing and analyzing warehouse costs, implementing cost reduction strategies where necessary. Qualifications: The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse setting, preferably within the food manufacturing industry. 2. Proven experience in implementing and maintaining safety compliance standards. 3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven record of motivating and leading a team. 4. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics. 5. Proficient in using warehouse management software and databases. 6. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions. 8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 9. A high level of physical fitness, as the role will involve some manual handling tasks. 10. A degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field would be advantageous.
