This individual will create and implement HR initiatives focused on achieving strategic objectives and provide hands-on human resources expertise in the areas of employee relations, performance management, compensation, employee retention, talent acquisition, coaching/developing and more. Additionally, this role will be a key resource in support of transactions processed in Workday and provide front line support to employees in areas of policies, procedures, and other standard work currently in place.

This hands-on role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with solid judgment and discretion. The candidate must possess self-motivation, customer-focus, passion, and a positive demeanor in all areas as well as meet deadlines between several activities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

Acts as HRBP to assigned business client groups. Advise and coach Managers and Associates on the best approaches/practices and generates options for achieving desired results.

Provide excellent human resources partnership to the management team and associates including input and direction regarding team development, organizational development, personal/professional development of associates, and employee relations matters.

Identifies trends in assigned business areas and partners with leadership to create and implement plans to address challenges (skill gaps, turnover, diversity, utilization, performance improvement/management, organization design and restructuring, etc.).

Facilitate the talent assessment and selection process for hourly and salary positions.

Facilitate leadership development programs and training courses.

Interpret company policies and procedures.

Leads annual performance management processes; facilitates calibration and helps drive appropriate differentiation of ratings and rewards. Works with managers to pro-actively address performance issues.

Resolve employee relations issues through a systematic approach with clear documentation and follow through.

Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide strategic staffing and recruitment consultation. Assist in identifying, interviewing and selecting candidates for open roles within assigned client groups.

Maintain and provide analytics to various partners.

Manage relevant communication for client groups.

Evaluate risks and provide advice for risk management procedures, processes, policies, and practices.

Drive Associate Survey processes including survey implementation and associate satisfaction improvement plans.

Support training and development activities.

Bring up critical issues to appropriate management.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration preferred.

PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Minimum 9-years of relevant human resources generalist experience.

Experience supporting both office-based and field-based organizations is preferable.

Solid systems and technical experience required including intermediate Excel and MS office skills. Workday experience a plus.

Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Candidate must have excellent verbal, written, listening and influence skills and be able to present facts clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.

Possess strong time management and organizational skills.

Candidate must have solid team skills, ability to build relationships, and be able to work efficiently and effective with associates at all levels of the organization.

Proven experience working with confidential or sensitive information.
