About the role
This is a remote opportunity anywhere in the United States. West
Coast is preferred.
The Director, Product Marketing (MS) will play a key role
within the Brand Team preparing to launch an exciting product
candidate with an expected first indication in multiple sclerosis
spasticity. This individual will work with the Brand Senior
Director to develop and execute the marketing strategy and
communications for various professional and consumer audiences. The
Director will collaborate with other functional areas and external
agencies to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan
that aligns with the brands critical success factors and is
responsive to customer needs and consistent with market
opportunities. This position will report to the Senior Director,
Contribute to and execute the US marketing launch strategy.
(e.g. positioning, messaging, branding, education, market
Lead the development and execution of the yearly cross
functional Brand Plan.
Develop and execute against promotional strategy and tactical
plans targeting US-based Neurologists other HCPs involved with the
treatment of MS spasticity.
Manage agency and vendor relationships to develop promotional
programs and tactics aligned with the brand strategy.
Analyze market data and trends to provide detailed strategy
Liaise with other internal departments, including Sales, Sales
Training, Market Access, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Medical
Affairs, Compliance, and IS personnel to achieve brand goals and
Identify and manage advertising and promotion budgets; develop
and monitor relevant metrics to ensure program success.
Communicates performance tracking as necessary.
Champion marketing materials through the promotional review
Understand key market trends and competitive environment to
drive proactive strategies to maximize brand potential.
Partner with Sales Training to develop comprehensive launch
Post-launch develop ongoing promotional strategies, personal and
non-personal promotional tools and resources.
Collaborate with sales teams to identify best practices and
uncover needs/trends and build relationships to improve consistency
of brand strategy execution.
Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies and
7-10 years of commercial experience in the
MS, spasticity, movement disorder or other relevant neurology
Launch experience preferred.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and demonstrated
Must demonstrate good judgement and evidence of good analytical,
problem solving, strategic thinking, planning, and project
Ability to think strategically by identifying and analyzing
consumer and market insights and translating these into effective
Proven success in effectively managing internal and external
relationships with colleagues, thought leaders, strategic business
partners and vendors.
Team oriented individual with solid communication skills
including significant experience presenting to senior management
and large audiences.
Approximately 30% travel is required.
