Our Food Services team at Green hospital is a vibrant team
dedicated to serving the community with the highest quality of
patient care experience. Located in the beautiful Torrey Pines
area, we are one of the busiest cafes through serving our patients,
staff and patient’s families. Our team has the opportunity to
rotate positions within the café, patient services and catering
areas within our department.
The Lead for Food and Nutrition Services provides leadership and
coordination in the following Food Service operational systems:
safe food handling, volume food production, menu development and
modification, meal assembly and portion control, inventory
management, food service equipment operations, customer service,
human resources management, financial performance, infection
control/sanitation and overall department function. Participates in
the planning, coordination, preparation and volume production of
meals for patients, cafeteria, and catering/special events.
Complies with JCAHO, Title XXII and other regulations.
This is a full-time located in the Torrey Pines area, weekend
and varied shift availability required.
