Job Summary & Key Responsibilities: Applicant will work with a diverse team of scientists and developers under the direct supervision of a senior developer to enhance in-housescientific tools (primarily web-based) to facilitate drug discovery and other research efforts.Minimum Qualifications: * Please Note that when established, Minimum Qualifications define a lower qualification threshold and/or limit. Candidate must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in chemistry, biology, or related field; or must be pursuing a computer science degree with strong experience in chemistry, biology or related field.Candidate must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating in Spring 2020.Must have demonstrated knowledge of python, JavaScript, and some flavor of SQL.Independent, creative thinking required--this is demonstrably not a position where one just writes code to a set of specifications!Must be able to adapt to changing requirements as the science evolves.At least two years of general programming experience required.Preferred Qualifications: ** Highlight the Core Value, Leadership or Work based Behaviors that will need to be embodied to achieve success in this roleExperience in VueJS/Vuetify strongly preferred; Experience in React or Angular considered.Experience in Oracle or Mysql databases strongly preferred.Web application development experience, including knowledge of CSS strongly preferred.
