Host Healthcare is nationwide healthcare staffing company that places nurses and therapists (physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologist) on contract assignments at our various clients sites nationwide (which include hospitals, nursing homes, and home health companies). Our job is to match the right healthcare professional with the right contract position!The Quality Services Specialist is an entry-level position within our Company. We are offering a part-time and/or full-time position. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that our healthcare professionals meet certain quality guidelines.Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 months experience in an office setting The individual will have two primary job duties:1) Performing reference checks on healthcare professionals who are interested in employment with our agency. This entails making calls to references in the healthcare field and asking predetermined questions regarding the skills and qualifications of our applicants.2) Assisting it the credentialing of healthcare professionals, which includes assisting them in obtaining proper state licensure, verifying employment history, reviewing drug tests and background checks, and other tasks.Other responsibilities may include sales and marketing projects, payroll support, and auditing files in our applicant tracking system. With successful performance and company growth, this individual may have the opportunity to advance into a Quality Services Analyst position within one year.
