Laboratory Supervisor, Skincare & Beauty,--San Diego, CAOverviewKelly Science is hiring a Laboratory Manager for an exciting skin and bodycare manufacturer! The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working with a team to produce amazing products, such as oils and butters.--This position will supervise 2-3 Laboratory Associates and collaborate with the Production Manager to follow product schedules. If you have a degree in a laboratory science and lead experience, apply today! We are looking to hire as soon as possible.You will be trained in all aspects of the manufacturing process:

• Manage team of 2-3
• Make skin care and body care products in our Lab
• Learn all manufacturing procedures according to SOP's and Lab protocols
• Communicate with Lab team members as well as Production department for scheduling of finished-- products
• Learn our inventory system to correctly receive, use, and store raw materials
• Make/fill/label/and package finished products as necessary
• Follow and understand all formulas, recipes, and procedures for manufacturing in-house products
• Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain inventory of all raw materials
• Communicate with Purchasing Agent as to when to replenish raw materials
• Maintain a clean and organized Lab by cleaning workstations and equipmentSkills and Requirements:
  • Degree in Lab Science or equivalent--
  • Experience in management or supervisory positions
  • Great organizational skills
  • Analytical Skills
  • Time management
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, excel
  • Knowledge of the Metric system
