Do you have what it takes?Job Description: Workshift: MTFSa/SuWTh 6AM - 6PMPosition Summary:The Quality Control Scientist I position is an integral member of the QualityControl team. In this role you will perform work required to ensure productquality is maintained at standards set forth by Mesa Biotech, part of our client's Quality System and mandated by regulatory agencies.Responsibilities include completing incoming, in-process, and final releasetesting of various products manufactured or received by Mesa Biotech, part of our client.Key Responsibilities:--- Perform incoming inspections of all raw materials--- Operate all equipment safely, as trained and directed, in accordance withestablished practices--- Maintain material identification and status control--- Execute test and inspection procedures in compliance with written andapproved standard operating procedures--- Collect, process, and analyze data--- Create and support investigations Non-Conformances/ Deviations / CAPAs asneeded.--- Recommend and execute test procedure updates--- Performs tasks related to QC functional responsibilities such as, stability,validations, sample retention program, customer complaints, inventorymaintenance, and continuous improvement efforts--- Review of device history records--- Always complies with Good Lab Practices (GLP) and Good DocumentationPractices (GDP)--- Embodies cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals andcompany culture--- Other activities as deemed necessary by the QC management teamMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:--- High school diploma (or equivalent)Personal attributes:--- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word--- Effective written and oral communication skills--- High attention to detail, highly organized, and strong documentation skills--- Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, accountable, and flexible--- Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks/projects and meetdeadlines
