What you get to do:
To ensure that the Entertainment products are performed
consistently with the highest level of show quality by critiquing
each show and providing immediate feedback to show
performers/animal trainers and show crew.
•Provide exceptional, professional guest service in a team
•Maintain area cleanliness
•Complete all opening and closing procedures
•Critiques and provides feedback to performers and support crew
•Compiles, distributes and provides follow-up on show notes
•Troubleshoots issues as they arise
•Coordinates show area maintenance
•Enforces SeaWorld San Diego safety standards
•Confirms show schedules
•Coordinates show elements (costume, make-up, show cast, crew, and
•Coordinates cast fittings, make-up, special rehearsals and
•Leads daily meeting with show team
•Ensures shows begin on time
•Works closely with Park Operations team pertaining to crowd
control and show issues
•Monitor morale of show team
•Updates show producer on show quality
•Coordinates show schedule with Supervisor and Show producer and
selects performers for each show
•Assists with training of support crew and audio operators
•Assists Show Producer with special events
•Manages rehearsal schedule
•Schedule’s equipment uses and personnel as needed
What it takes to succeed:
•Two years college or equivalent experience with concentration in
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups of
managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Excellent organizational and leadership skills
•The physical demands described here are representative of those
that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job.
•Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and
ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly
exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally
exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate.
