Job Description:

A higher-education employer is seeking a Help Desk Manager to join their team in San Diego. This person will be responsible for managing all day to day operations of the Help Desk from a customer-centric perspective. Responsibilities include helpdesk management and operations, routine reporting, tool administration and management of help desk staff. This person should be technical and be capable of acting as an escalation point for complicated and non-standard software and hardware questions.

Experience as a Helpdesk Manager in a higher education setting

Experience configuring, administrating, and using an enterprise-level ITSM tool

ITIL Foundations Certification

A+ Certification

N+, MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)
2+ years experience managing staff and/or projects related to help desk environments

3+ years experience and knowledge of: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, antivirus software, VPN clients, Mac OS, iOS, and Google Suite.

Strong verbal & written communication skills

Experience managing difficult interpersonal situations
