At PIRCH we are empowered, knowledgeable and caring. We are looking for an enthusiastic IT help desk technician. This person will closely work with a senior help desk technician to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to queries either in person or over the phone. Respond to email messages for customers seeking help. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.Essential Functions

  • Essential Functions
    • Handle problem recognition, research, resolution, and follow-up for routine user problems, and escalation of more complex problems.
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure employees have the proper IT related equipment to work efficiently
    • Troubleshoot all matters related to team member laptop and computers and mobile devices
    • Troubleshoot issues relating to AV equipment and conference rooms
    • Install, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software both manually and via endpoint management tools
    • Provide hardware and software support for all supported Personal Computer and Mobile Devices plus associated peripherals
    • Respond to customer requests in a timely fashion and work independently to complete assigned tasks as quickly as possible
    • Respond to tickets and questions from users concerning their hardware and software issues
    • Keep affected business partners informed about progress
    • Escalate the process as necessary per established escalation policies
    • Provide basic training to end users on ad-hoc basis
    • Assist in implementation of company network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware
    • Create knowledge articles for publication to technical and non-technical team members

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Outstanding listening skills and able to communicate clearly with people at all levels of the organization
      • Able to anticipate and prioritize multiple tasks from multiple sources and switch direction quickly while still maintaining task integrity as required
      • Detail oriented and excellent organization skills
      • Good problem-solving skills
      • Must be able to work independently, with limited supervision and within a team setting with strong collaborating skills*Experience*
        • High school education or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus)
        • 3+ years of experience
        • Experience working with Office 365, Windows 10, iOS.
        • Experience troubleshooting Chrome and internet explorer browser issues.
        • Microsoft's active directory experience is a plus.
        • Mobile device management experience is a plus.
        • Inventory management skills are a plus
        • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is a plusJob Type: Full-time
