Summary of Role
The Producer is responsible for the management and execution of all event production deliverables throughout scope and design, budgeting, pre-production, on-site, and post-production. In addition, the Producer is also responsible for certain general administrative duties. The Producer will be accountable for client satisfaction and delivering the program on budget and with an established profit margin.
Essential Functions

  • Responsible for budget development/management including ensuring team is updating expenses on a weekly basis and proactively communicating cost overruns and exposure to Account Manager so they can be addressed with the client via a change order or with CG management
  • Management of assigned teams (production, creative, technical) and workflows as per approved SOWs/budgets
  • Setting up projects, with clear objectives, in the project management system and upkeeping schedules, tasks, budgets
  • Developing budgets, working with creative, production, and technical teams to adequately scope for the project
  • Overall lead for project/task and responsible for defining needs, building and leading team tasked with delivering a project to specifications and on budget
  • Develop and foster long term relationships with a portfolio of clients
  • Responsible for client satisfaction and ensure CG team are delivering services on time, on budget, and to client expectations
  • Establishing and communicating timelines and expectations with internal staff in line with client expectations & communicating and sharing project timeline calendars with the client for review/approval
  • Managing and mentoring junior level staff (coordinators, associate-level teams) Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
    • Demonstrated ability to work with clients and develop an event strategy and develop an associated plan and budget
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
    • Comfort working with individuals in all levels of the client organization, including strong skills interacting with senior-level management.
    • Comfortable assisting and developing the scope of work, estimates, and timelines for new business opportunities
    • Ability to handle multiple, high priority assignments with an effective resolution of conflicting priorities
    • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively to contribute ideas that will drive value in a dynamic, client-centered environment
    • Ability to manage multiple sensitive deadlines from multiple project layers including ad ops, campaign management, reporting, client expectations, and upper management
    • Ability to keep calm, cool, and collected under pressure and when faced with adversary and devise a solution and lead client and internal team to a successful outcome Education and Experience
      • 4-6 years of experience with a creative agency and/or event planning/production experience
        • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
        • Experience identifying project risks, process inefficiencies, and creating/executing solutions
        • Some experience working and leading large (5,000- 8,000 attendees) and complex events and delivering solutions to a diverse ww audience from the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions.
        • Proven experience managing events with 300-1,000 attendees. Well versed in one or more of the following areas of expertise : General Session, Breakout Sessions, Tradeshow/expo hall activations, registration, event branding, content/messaging strategy, video production, slide design workflow, logistics management including hotel, F&B, transportation and evening function/entertainment planning

          Position Type/Schedule Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Travel When COVID restrictions are lifted, travel may be required in this position.
