The Networked Information Solutions Division is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in San Diego, CA.The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for all aspects of Business Development including customer engagement; opportunity identification, qualification and capture; pipeline administration; strategy development; and keeping senior BD and line leaders up to date on the status and progress of ongoing activities. The selected candidate will work across the organization to help prioritize opportunities, optimize investments, facilitate capture and campaign strategy sessions, and continuously assess and update the new business pipeline against the long-range strategic and annual operating plans. The candidate will work on key capture opportunities to maximize Pwin. This highly visible and impactful role is critical to our strategic focus areas within the Division.Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or similar technical field plus 10 years of relevant business development, project management experience, civil service or military experience. 4 years of--additional--experience in lieu of education.
    • Experience with US Department of Defense acquisition processes.
    • Working knowledge of military communications, networking and/or command and control systems, tactics and procedures
    • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
    • Strong communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts and systems to customers and shape their decision process.
    • Candidate must possess the ability to build and manage business development teams, particularly through influential leadership.
    • A results driven attitude and a proven capability of working in a collaborative environment across distributed locations and organizations.
    • Current SECRET clearance (recent investigation completed)Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with military communications/networking programs, agile systems development, and digital engineering
      • Master's degree in business, engineering, national security studies or equivalent
      • Knowledge of major US Department of Defense acquisition organizations, military communications customers or planning/requirements organizations for military comms
      • Experience in franchise ($200M+) capture/proposal management and/or strategic planning.
      • Eligibility for TS/SCI Clearance Salary Range: 151000 - 226400 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
