Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resource (HRIS) Administrator will support and maintain
the organization's HRIS applications and modules. Generates
scheduled and ad hoc reports, tracks metrics and acts as lead for
HRIS related implementations.
Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may
include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and
upgrade to applications, systems, and modules
Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS
users
Collaborates with leadership and HR staff to identify system
improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements
solutions
Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system
operations and settings for HRIS users
Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated
queries, filters, macros, and reports
Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports,
summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff
Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information
services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design
and implementation projects
Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy
requirements
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers,
vendors, and technology
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
College level communication and analytical skills
Experience with multiple HRIS database/systems
Two years' experience working within an HR department
Working knowledge of general HR functions and terminology
Advanced level MS Office, to include Excel and Outlook
EXPECTED COMPETENCIES
Thorough understanding of databases in general, including HRIS and
related systems
Professional verbal and written communication skills, including
interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate
with a team
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with HR fundamentals and ability to apply basic HR
concepts to systems and procedures
Sufficient project management and organizational skills to complete
deliverables on time within constraints provided
Proficient with or able to quickly learn systems and software used
by the organization
Must be proactive, results-oriented and have a strong sense of
accountability
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
