Manufacturing team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is
looking for you to join our team as an Assembler 2 based out of
Rancho Carmel facility in San Diego, CA.What You'll get to Do:We
are looking for a precision Assembler that will perform a variety
of operations assembling sub-assemblies and top-level modules on
varies manufacturing products. Assembler will be required to
assemble, disassemble, repair and reassemble using visual aids,
written procedures, engineering drawings and schematics. Performs a
variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive on
electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, using
either by hand tools or power tools. Individuals must be able to
keep up with production's intensive schedule and is expected to
meet deadlines in a timely fashion. Preferred qualifications for
this position will be individuals with mechanical assembly
backgrounds. Additional duties and responsibilities include:Produce
high-quality assemble results.Work in a high paced
environmentInspect individual work prior to moving forward to next
operationWork in a team environmentApply moderate to high
multi-tasking skills Basic Qualifications:High School diploma/GED2+
years mechanical assembly experience (sub-assemblies, top level
assemblies)Work 2nd Shift-3:00 pm - 12:30 amExperience assembling
radio frequency filtersComprehensive knowledge of techniques,
approaches, guidelines, policies and procedures use by a mechanical
assembler.Prior experience/knowledge with assembly
techniquesAbility to use basic handheld tools and soldering.Prior
experienced working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPrior
experience with working with chemicals regularly and safelyAbility
to read and understand visual aid, schematic interpretation,
mechanical blueprints/drawingsProblem solving skills in a
manufacturingExperience with Microsoft OfficeEffective,
communication skills managementPreferred Qualifications:Pick &
Place experienceCapable of perform precision assembly and
solderingPrior experience using microscope to assemble and
solder.J-STD Experience/Certification.ESD & FOD experienceSalary
Range: $38,700 USD - $64,500 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
