The Network Solutions Business Unit is hiring a Manager Program Management 3 within the Networked Information Solutions Division of the Mission Systems Sector in San Diego, CA. This manager Network Solutions Business Unit portfolio of Operating Units and Programs, and is responsible for guiding overall program performance of the Network Solutions Business Unit. The Manager 3 will align the NSBU's business strategies, execution roadmaps, and investment opportunities to drive the Long Range Strategic Plan by way of:
  • Lead functional strategy integration efforts of NSBU workforce demand and resource planning
  • Facilitate review and approval of Bid & Proposal (B&P) requests
    • Coordinate data gathering and analysis and prepare presentations to support strategy reviews with division leadership
      • Manage NSBU BRAVO budget and employee engagement activities
      • Coordinate across programs and functions for common efficiencies and operational gains
      • Support program gate reviews, and assist in resolution of program execution challengesThe qualified candidate will have demonstrated success in the followingareas:
        • Identifying, collecting, analyzing, monitoring, and communicating key performance metrics
        • Updating, analyzing and reporting on Internal Progress Reporting Systems (IPRS) data
        • Effectively presenting information to internal and external stakeholders
        • Cultivating trusted relationships with customers and teammates
        • Participating in proposals for government contractsBasic Qualifications:
          • Bachelor's Degree and 9 years' experience, or a Master's degree and 7 years' in strategic planning, program / enterprise integration or business development.
          • Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry
          • 3+ years' experience in a leadership function as either a manager or a lead
          • Excellent presentation and communication skills
          • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:
            • EVMS experience
            • Proposal experience that includes labor quoting; schedule and capacity analysis, investment planning; and descriptive writing contributions
            • Program execution experience managing ETCs & EACs
            • Professional executive presence, and comfort engaging with senior executives

              Salary Range: $171,000 USD - $256,400 USD

              Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
