Job Description

Eurofins, Inc. National Service Center ("NSC") located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is searching for a Sourcing Specialist to support the Procurement department in Lancaster, PA. The supporting Sourcing Specialist assists national procurement efforts for the business units and their assigned projects through the support and execution of category strategies. This position is responsible for providing best-in-class overall value through quality and cost of goods and services for the business units to operate at the most competitive level by leading the development of cost reduction, process improvement, and productivity projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Additional Responsibilities Include

As a Sourcing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support the NSC Procurement Department for the North America-based Eurofins companies. You will report into the Category Manager (Consumables, Equipment, Services) and refine processes as well as execute new category strategies as they pertain to current projects. While this role does not call for a specific years of experience, Eurofins is searching for a candidate that possesses strong communication skills and is self-motivated.

• Managing supplier selection, RFP process, negotiation, contracting and supplier performance processes
• Creating a strong knowledge and intelligence base for assigned commodities, market dynamics and suppliers relevant to the business
• Ensuring the administration, implementation, compliance, and enforcement of national commodity and contracting strategies
• Driving sourcing process alignment through project management including compliance regarding scope, timeline, deliverables, total cost of ownership, quality, and budget
• Building relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders by effectively communicating expectations
• Leading and integrating assigned portfolio of spend related to post-acquisition activity
  
  Qualifications
  
  Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):
  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain (or related field) preferred
  • 0-2 years of Procurement or Sourcing experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication
  • Basic knowledge of P2P or Source to Pay process

    Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. This position would be eligible for Hybrid or remote work.
