Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines Medical Surgical is located on the campus of Scripps Green Hospital and a busy, multi-specialty clinic. The Medical and Surgical Specialties including Ortho, Neuro, Surgery, HemOnc, amongst other provides patient focused care to the coastal community we serve.

Join our Medical Surgical team at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines as a Registered Nurse - Clinic for the float pool and make a different in the lives of the patients we serve. Covering short term requests, you will have your schedule created a week in advance and will get to experience multiple specialties within Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines.

Working together, you'll bring your expertise, compassion and excellence to all we do. Within this role, you will conduct patient care assessment and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Float across both medical and surgical specialties and assist surgeons. Perform in-basket messaging and conduct RN/Nurse visits within the department.

This position is full time 8 hour day shift located at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines.

Required Qualifications:

* Prior RN experience
* Current California Registered Nurse License
* Current BLS from American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior RN experience in an ambulatory/clinic setting
* Prior surgical specialty and/or float pool experience highly preferred
* Previous Epic working experience preferred
