Job Description:
The Project Coordinator position is responsible for supporting
the Project Engineer and Project Manager through handling the
administration functions of the day-to-day scope, schedule, budget,
cost, and risk management for their projects.They are also
responsible for coordinating the flow of documents for
projects.They work closely with all members of the project team.
Key Responsibilities:Project Support - Responsible for creating and
tracking committing documents and change orders, and supporting the
Project Manager/Engineer in the administrative functions of
managing all aspects of commercial construction projectsManage the
drafting and processing of owner and subcontractor contractsAssure
owner and subcontractor insurance is in compliance with
contractsSupport the Project Manager/Engineer in distributing the
master project schedule, as neededSupport the Superintendents in
communicating with subcontractors regarding schedule expectations,
as requestedSupport the Project Manager/Engineer in formatting and
reviewing bid proposalsLead and manage the drafting and processing
of owner and subcontractor change ordersSupport the Superintendents
in their punch list and quality control efforts, as
requestedDocument Coordination - Responsible for coordinating the
document control for assigned projectsContract Documents:
Coordinate the distribution of plan changes to all effected
tradesSubmittals & Procurement:Coordinate the scheduling,
solicitation, review, tracking and distribution of submittals and
shop drawingsClose-out: Lead the compilation of closeout packages
and processing of close-out documentsTeam Support - Responsible for
contributing to the success of the project by supporting the
Project Manager, Project Engineer and Superintendents - play a
support role in accomplishing company objectivesAssist Project
Managers/Engineer and Superintendents in implementation of policies
and execution of projectsIdentify and implement process
improvementsSupport company initiativesSupport team members and
contribute to a positive employee experienceOther responsibilities
as requested.Education, Experience and Skills: Some college
studies, or equivalent experience is preferred Must have a minimum
two (2) years of commercial construction experience in a project
coordination and administration capacity Experience drafting
contracts Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, PM Software,
and Scheduling software Must have the desire to support a team A
strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitudeJob Characteristics:The
ideal candidate possesses the following summarized and categorized
characteristics.Pace and Variety of Activities A quick pace. Tasks
and the volume of activity will vary. Very detail oriented. Tasks
must be completed quickly and correctly. More of a
service-oriented, people orientation rather than an analytical or

to have the input and collaboration of others. Risk taking is not
required. New ideas or initiatives will not require significant
