Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff or
Senior Staff Systems Engineer Lead to join our team of qualified,
diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego,
CA.The selected candidate will lead the Systems Engineering effort
for the U.S. Navy Future Vertical Lift (FVL) program capture
initiative. The SE Lead is responsible for meeting program
technical milestones and managing the technical baseline, working
in conjunction with the other program leads (Capture Manager,
Program Manager, Chief Engineer, Mission Systems Lead, Modelling
and Simulation Lead, Vehicle Systems Lead, Logistics Lead, et
al.).Essential Functions:
The selected candidate will work with associated leads to develop
and execute program plans in accordance with system-level
requirements. The candidate will manage the SE execution rhythm,
coordination and reporting activities to ensure that all external
requirements are completed on time. He or she will coordinate the
development, in coordination with the other technical leads, of
program requirements, risks, mission threads, operational
simulations, and vehicle constraints and trades, and generate an
MBSE model that captures as much of that as possible. The
successful candidate will also prepare, monitor, and update project
schedules, conducting and participating in all related design
reviews, and serving as a technical liaison to the cross-functional
team.Basic Qualifications:
Salary Range: $156,000 USD - $234,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
