Job DescriptionManufacturing Supervisor – DiagnosticsDirect Hire positionSan Diego, CA Talentry is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Supervisor who can oversee the daily activities of the manufacturing/production team. He or she will keep quality, compliance, budget, and volume objectives in mind while optimizing the manufacturing process of the organization. This person will work extensively cross-functionally and will ensure that all departments and groups are in harmony with the manufacturing goals. The right person will oversee the preparation of solutions and materials needed for manufacturing, evaluate raw- and in-process materials, and assess finished products. He or she will oversee compliance to the Master Validation Plan and maintain all documentation during the production process. The best person for this role will assist in the set-up, calibration, validation, operation, maintenance, cleaning, decommissioning, etc., of production and lab equipment. He or she will ensure safety and compliance standards are met, documentation is performed effectively, and inter-departmental communications are handled in an effective manner. He or she will also be involved in SOP development, Change Management, deviation reporting, etc. This person will also interface with vendors, conduct performance management, and work closely with facilities, quality, operations, and other groups.RequirementsRequirements:BS in Science, or equivalent degree.5+ years of experience in an FDA regulated diagnostic or medical device company.Proven team lead or supervision experience.Demonstrated laboratory, documentation, and ERP skills.Solid communication skills.
