Pay Rate: Negotiable - W2Shift: Mon-Fri (1st shift)Duration: 12 months to startLocation: On Site - Carlsbad, CA

Description: Our Research and Development team crafts novel products that empower scientists in their quest to gain a deeper understanding of cell biology and enables groundbreaking research in fields like immunology, oncology, and infectious diseases. We are passionate about providing the latest innovations in dyes and instrumentation, alongside a growing antibody portfolio to push the boundaries of flow cytometry, western blotting, and imaging. Responsibilities: Validating and supporting the commercialization of a novel assay for flow cytometry by
--- Acquiring and implementing knowledge from current literature to design and perform experiments, conducting troubleshooting with some supervision
--- Documentation of results in lab notebook
--- Utilizing conventional and spectral flow cytometry technology and analyzing resulting data sets
--- Managing multiple experiments concurrently to meet product release timelines
--- Preparation of serum from human and mouse blood or tissue culture and downstream processing of samples
--- Preparing and presenting written and oral reports to manager and extended R&D teams
--- Communicating and working effectively with team members across the organization to optimize product development
--- Performing other responsibilities to support the team, as assigned Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology with a focus on immunology, oncology, cell biology or related field with 3+ years of industry OR equivalent research experience Experience:
--- Hands-on experience with setting up and performing multi-color flow cytometry experiments, including data collection, analysis and interpretation of results and troubleshooting
--- Comfortable in processing blood with moderate supervision and familiarity with basic immune cell subsets
--- Experience with PrimeFlow assay, small particle flow cytometry and/or extracellular vesicle biology are a plus Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
--- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and FlowJo software
--- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize
--- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
--- Highly collaborative, enjoys working with a diverse team and supports an inclusive environment #P2
