Silverado Hospice San Diego is looking for a Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN) to join our Palliative Care team! This person will be covering the North San Diego territory. He/she works cooperatively with the other members of the Interdisciplinary Hospice Team.The Hospice nurse provides intermittent visits or shifts of skilled nursing care, performs prescribed medical treatments, including pain management and symptom control, provides nursing observations, provides teaching regarding the expected course of the disease, care techniques and other health measures to the patient, family or other primary caregiver, and participates in the care plan development and implementation.Performs all related duties as assigned.We're looking for someone who:Loves people.Has compassion and patience.Is a quick learner.Is ethical, honest, dependable, and open-minded.Is an effective communicator.PROTECTING YOU, PROTECTING OTHERS: We believe our residents, patients and associates deserve to thrive in an environment protected from COVID-19.
