This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. - 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

Responsible for the receipt, verification, organization, computer transaction and physical movement of all incoming/outgoing inventory and non-inventory items into and out of the failure analysis (FA) department.Transports material to/from other facilities as required via cart or forklift. Tracks parts and coordinates with warehouse/buyers/planners, etc. to schedule deliveries and pickups for FA parts.

Verifyingthe accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
Labelingevery product and placing them accordingly
Identifyingand locating the right products during the delivery process
Keepinga well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory
Handlingreturns by completing technical documentation and other requiredcommunication
Keepingall material handling equipment in the best condition by conductingregular maintenance
Collaboratingwith internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrectdeliveries and replace damaged products
Requestsparts to be delivered twice a week from the Cymer warehouse.
Verifiesdelivery of parts against request lists.
Takesphotographs to document incoming condition of FA parts and organizesphotos in FA database.
Transactsparts in Oracle between warehouse locations.
Utilizesmaterial transfer requests (MTR) to transact material.
Performscycle counts weekly of FA inventory and resolves discrepancies.
UpdatesFA database based on weekly closed FA spreadsheet.
Actsas FA representative for inventory audits
Expeditesurgent FA requests to ensure availability for testing.
Coordinateswith warehouse/buyers/planners to resolve discrepant receipts.
Filesdocumentation in accordance with department procedures.
Uses standardized tools and electric equipment(i.e., torque wrenches, electric and pneumatic screwdrivers and balldrivers) to perform mechanical assembly, testing, repair, andtroubleshooting of opto-mechanical assemblies.
Enters data intocompany databases.
May collect andanalyze data under descriptive instructions/guidance.
May recommendprocedural improvements to management.
Occasionally works closely with engineerson FA testing of products. This includes developing test methodology,establishing test parameters and documenting procedures.Performslaboratory maintenance, equipment tracking and maintenance, materialordering, and departmental safety and equipment tracking policyenforcement.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum qualifications - the hired candidate must possess all the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for the position including:
Minimum 2 of Years of relevant experience working in a warehouse or factory setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possesses excellent listening skills.
Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic e-mail systems.
Ability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, Dremel, etc.)
Capacity to work independently and set individual priorities.
Availability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
Capability to work in a team environment.
Flexibility to work overtime and off-shift hours to support company requirements.
Must be forklift certified
Previous experience as a material handler is required.
Can learn and apply new information or skills.
Must be able to read and interpret data, information and documents.
Ability to lift 60-100 pounds regularly.
