Responsibilities:The Defense Mission and Health Solutions Sector
supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our
homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the
Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT,
training and logistics and fleet management solutions.Peraton is
seeking a Systems Test Engineer to support the Peraton Team on the
modernization and replacement of the ground-based leg of the
nuclear triad, nuclear missiles that can be launched from land,
sea, and air.Peraton provides Engineering and Manufacturing
Development (EMD) and Early Production & Deployment. The EMD phase
includes full system design, build and demonstration,
qualification, test and evaluation, and nuclear certification.The
position is based out of San Diego, CA.What you'll do:The Systems
Test Engineer will be responsible for the following but not limited
to:Systems Test Engineer designs for test and develops system
architectures and defines key capabilities and performance
requirements.Mature the capabilities through functional analysis
and Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes to deliver
just-in-time design and optimize the development schedule for
incremental capability development and early integration for the
System Test TeamCollaborate with several stakeholders (subsystem
developers, system integrators, system testers, system requirements
engineers) to support delivery of quality design products, through
integration and test of the system hardware and
softwareQualifications:Required qualifications:EDUCATION: BS 5-7
Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Software,
an additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be
considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.CLEARANCE: Candidate must
currently have an active U.S. Government DOD Secret Clearance5
years of System Engineering experienceExperience in Hardware
Qualification TestingEligible for Special Access Program
ClearanceExperience with Systems designDesired
qualifications:Experience writing in XMLExperience in writing
maintenance manualsQuality Control experienceDemonstrated ability
to multi-task while keeping schedule and qualityPrevious experience

customers.Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $57,500 Salary Mid:
$115,000 Salary Maximum: $143,800 The estimate displayed represents
the typical salary range for this position, and is just one
component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
