Job Title: Cybersecurity R&D Systems Architect Location: San Diego, CA Duties & Responsibilities: * Direct sponsor engagement and facilitate product or system requirements gathering and analysis * Verify cybersecurity engineering product life-cycle including definition, requirements analysis, and implementation * Conduct product or system design synthesis translating requirements into physical cyber architectures for systems of moderate complexity * Define/refine internal and external diagrams detailing product or system attributes * Develops, coordinates, and implements systems engineering plans, processes and procedures, requirements analysis, system definition, and integration activities * Researches and develops solutions for infrastructure automation and orchestration in support of DoD cybersecurity initiatives * Leverages tools and applications to automate deployment and management of systems * Secures Linux and Windows operating systems per DoD STIG requirements * Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required * Configures CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required Minimum Requirements: * Strong understanding of Navy or DoD information technology and security architecture and frameworks * Strong understanding of Navy accreditation and change control processes * Strong communication skills to be able to accurately communicate relevant project technical information to stakeholders in a timely manner * Relevant technical certifications to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (e.g. Security+, CISSP, etc.) * Active Secret Security Clearance * Minimum o f5 years of related experience with a B.S degree in Cybersecurity OR a minimum of 3 years with a M.S degree OR a minimum of 0 years with a Ph.D. * 10-25% Travel may be required Desired Skills: * Top-Secret SCI Security Clearance * M.S degree in Cybersecurity What we Offer: * Competitive pay and benefits * 401k eligibility after 6 months, including company match How to Apply: Please submit your resume below for this opportunity and to view other positions available, visit our careers page at Allyon, Inc. is an equal employment opportunities (EEO) employer and terms of employment are without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
