Job Summary:

A CSR CDL Lead is responsible for loading galley equipment onto a truck, driving the truck to various types of aircrafts, and unloading the equipment. Usually should drive on public roads, outside of airport and terminal.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Loads equipment on to the truck
  • Drives the truck to the aircraft
  • Loads galleys according to customer guidelines
  • Unloads dirty equipment, and places dirty equipment and trash in designated area
  • All activities must be accomplished according to customer guidelines and while adhering to safety and sanitation regulations
  • Interact with the airline representatives at the aircraft
  • Follow directions
  • Work as a member of a team
  • Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management
  • Provides leadership, coaching, training and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
  • Communicates to higher level manager frequently on production progress or concerns (staffing, shortages, delivery system, etc.)
  • Monitors compliance and safety rule adherence at the work stations
  • Maintains the flow of products and equipment from the unit to the aircrafts.
  • Assists the Supervisor or Manager in running the shift Qualifications

    Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED required Work Experience:
      • 2 years in the related field Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
        • Current U.S. driver's license
        • Class A and or CDL is required
        • Some locations may require a Customs Seal from local airport authority Job Skills:
          • Leadership skills
          • Has good understanding of the unit's operational processes Language / Communication Skills:
            • Must be able to read and write to complete required forms
            • Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
            • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills Requirements of the Job:
              • Work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidays
              • Works overtime when required
              • Arrives to work on-time
              • Must comply with company policies
              • Completes paperwork and related administrative duties Work Environment
                • Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
                • Majority of duties performed outside in all weather conditions
                • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shift
                • Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
                • Must be able to work at heights up to 25 feet or more depending upon aircraft gategroup Competencies Required to be Successful in the Job:
