Description We are currently seeking event staff for a large international convention which runs from June 11, 2022- June 16, 2022. You must have open availability during these dates. These are contract positions. We are looking to hire greeters, directionals, registration attendants, door monitors, and supervisors. Responsibilities: This is a great opportunity to earn additional income. Experience in doing registration is preferred, but a proven track record for providing exceptional customer service is acceptable. Must have computer and typing skills. Candidates must be professional, energetic, friendly, flexible, personable, outgoing and proactive, with a "team-player" attitude. Most positions require long periods of standing. Attire can be casual or standard professional-conservative attire -- white collared, long-sleeve, button up dress shirt*, black slacks or skirt (no jeans), black socks or stockings, black belt (if applicable), black dress shoes (no tennis shoes), black jacket or blazer and conservative tie (for men). Attire may vary based on client preferences. Skills: Skills/Requirements: Registration assistants are required to have typing and computer skills. High School diploma or GED. Excellent communication skills Two years of customer-facing work experience such as: convention staff / conference staff, special events staff, restaurant host/hostess, captain, waitstaff, bartender, retail floor workers, hotel front desk or concierge staff; receptionists or customer service agents, flight attendants, check in or gate personnel, tour guides, teachers, gym greeters, casino and racetrack hosts or similar positions.
