This is our highest-level individual contributor design role (IC4).The Data-In priority provides customers with a secure and portable way to store, review, and update their auto-entered data, so it can do more for the customer, whether it be saving time or providing valuable education on their financial lives.

• Create and articulate an inspiring design vision and strategy that drives innovation and clarity across the teams and stakeholders
• Accelerate innovation by helping the team to go broad and explore bold ideas. The goal is to speed up learning and experimentation to launch robust offerings confidently into the market
• Proactively builds strategic relationships to advocate and influence stakeholders to align toward a shared vision of the experience
• Amplifies and dramatizes customer stories and information through the use of storytelling and prototyping to evoke meaningful and lasting emotional responses and drive action and accountability
• Role model identifying leap-of-faith assumptions, creating and executing experimentation plans with clearly defined hypotheses and meaningful metricsResponsibilitiesHow You Will Lead
  • Collaborate with the Design team and cross-functional partners in Development, Product Management, Data, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure problems and interdependencies are holistically understood and solved from an ecosystem perspective
  • Deliver multiple projects simultaneously through robust communication and time management skills
  • Participate in and analyze extensive customer research to identify insights that will ultimately provide customer value and delight
  • Leverage iterative prototyping to quickly test concepts and learn from customers
  • Use storytelling to effectively present and communicate your designs and rationale to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Drive design decisions through data by partnering with our analytics and customer success teams
  • Assess and account for up and downstream impacts of new product releases through a strong understanding of information architecture
  • Participate in and promote a culture of detailed feedback rooted in first principles, design rationale, customer data, and industry best practices
  • Provide mentorship to co-ops and early career designers from a craft, and cross-discipline partnership perspective
