Permanent, direct hire Pay range: $65,000 - $70,000 based on experience Hybrid schedule in San Diego, 92018 Summary: This role is responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Receivable tasks: maintain timely records of customer payments and invoices; communicate customer delinquencies and resolve past due accounts, and security deposit refunds. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and hardworking. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. Responsibilities: Enter Daily cash receipt postings Identify and resolve invoice and/or payment errors on a timely basis ACH Bank drafts in a timely manner Upload lockbox authentication file (AR Aging) to Check Processor portal by 9:00am and record in ERP daily Respond to all external/internal inquiries in a timely and solutions-based manner Collection of unpaid invoices over 14 days past due for assigned clients Complete month-end tasks by due dates Responsible for reconciling A/R sub-legder against G/L balance Recording and reconciling client Security Deposits Setting up ACH receipts or payment and send ACH returns or change notifications to CSS AR reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) Assist in preparation of audit schedules related to A/R Develop and design new processes as needed to create increased efficiencies Ensure all processes are clearly documented What you need: Associate degree or 3-5 years of experience with Accounts Receivable or related field Comfortable in a high-volume transaction environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent client service skills and professional demeanor High degree of organization and attention to detail Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Working knowledge of an ERP system (Great Plains and Netsuite), productivity software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Google Workspace Benefits: Company-sponsored medical, dental and vision plan for employees and their dependents, 401(k), wellness program, learning development program, life insurance, long-term disability coverage, charitable contribution matching, volunteer time off and employee assistance program.
