If you are looking to be a part of a company whose singular focus is to deliver value through safe, effective and affordable biopharmaceuticals, you've come to the right place!As a QC Associate Scientist, Bioassay, you will be responsible for routine and non-routine product testing using bioanalytical test methods in a welcoming, supportive environment. -Below is a representative sample of some of the essential functions of the position:

• Conducting routine/non-routine testing and analysis of GMP product using appropriate test methods such as ELISAs, qPCR, cell-based assay, etc; maintaining cell cultures for cell-based assays
• Performing routine instrument PM/calibration and routine cleaning of labs and incubators
• Implementing new equipment into the lab and troubleshooting instrument issues
• Conduct lab investigations and write report for incidents, deviations and OOS results
• Initiate change controls related to procedure or test method revisions
• Performing assay transfers, validation of bioanalytical methods and test product GMP samples as assignedTo be considered an ideal candidate, you possess the following education/experience/knowledge and abilities:
  • BS or advanced degree in chemistry, molecular biology, biochemistry or related life sciences discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience
  • 7 years of Quality Control experience in GMP biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Extensive knowledge of GMP regulations and experience with regulatory compliance inspections -
  • Recent Quality Control/bioassay/Method Validation experience with Biologics strongly preferred
  • Ability to adapt, work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis for cell-based bioassay is important
  • Excellent oral/written and interpersonal communication skills; and a knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)The pay range Tanvex reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $76,500 and $92,500. Individual compensation varies depending on the candidate's education and experience.
