Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor, the
Customer Service Representative's primary role is to promote
favorable relationships with members, providers and health plans.
Through the prompt, accurate and courteous resolution of issues,
including but not limited to the following: authorization,
processing claims, research, coordinating, translation services and
Primary Care Provider changes.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Positive and constructive demeanor
Superb listening skills
Outstanding communication skills (speaking, reading, writing)
Masterful problem-solver!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent; Bachelor's Degree
considered in lieu of experience
1 year of experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 codes, CPT Codes, HCPC
Codes, Health Plan benefits, or claims
Previous experience in the health care field, such as hospital,
medical group, health insurance, or other Risk Bearing Organization
(RBO)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
Computer skills, including Excel, EZ Cap, Word, Outlook, and data
entry systems
The expected hiring range for this position is $20.00 to $27.50
