Come join the family! - Job Summary The Optical Engineer will integrate into Daylight's tunable lasers and instrumentation engineering team. The Engineer will contribute their optical system expertise to the development of new and existing products. Job Responsibilities

• Guide optical system design choices with simulations and sub-system experiments
• Contribute to all phases of new product development
• Integrate and document product prototypes
• Perform Design Verification Testing
• Transfer build and test knowledge to Production
• Participate in Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Support application and business development activities
• Apply DLSI engineering processes
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge
  • Ability to work independently The pay scale for this position is $92,789/year - $132,689/year. The pay scale information is a general guideline only.
