Job Description:
- Accurately process and reconcile daily commission files and
statements, while building on experience and applying knowledge of
commissions within a self-clearing broker dealer.
- Perform research and interact with sponsors and fund companies
as needed to obtain statements for timely commission processing.
Proactively seek best practices and implement process improved
commission processing methods.
- Prioritize workload and perform timely resolution of
outstanding commission issues
- Perform accounting functions; including preparation of journal
entries; pertinent documentation of workpapers and reconciliation
of balance sheet accounts
- Understand standard contract terms and commission calculations
to assist clients
- Ability to utilize intermediate Excel skills to research
questions and efficiently analyze commission transaction data

- Provide Raving Fans customer service to clients; meeting SLAs
and Cetera Service Culture service standards
- Team player willing to pitch in as needed to complete
commission processing work and accomplish service standards and
SLAs What you need to have:
- High School Diploma. Associate technical college degree in
Accounting or Administration is a plus.
- 1-2 years of intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; including
writing formulas, Pivot Tables, vlookup formulas, and the ability
to work with very large worksheets containing multiple linked
worksheets
- 1+ year experience working with Microsoft Access including
working with tables, and joins to write queries is preferred
- Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, ability to
multi-task and produce timely results in a fast-paced work
environment
- Capable of working well in a team -environment
- Capable of exercising problem-solving skills
- Customer service experience with sound verbal and written
communication skills
