Contracts Admin Associate for an ONSITE opportunity to work with a
leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and
electromechanical devices. In this role, you will be reviewing,
evaluating and interpreting contract terms and conditions. The
Contracts Administration Associate serves in an administrative and
contractual capacity. Responsibilities include but are not limited
to; review of customer terms and conditions, preparing exceptions,
negotiating changes with customers as well as contract management
for compliance with contract deliverables. Contracts Administration
Associate will ensure customer requirements are met while working
interdepartmentally with various stakeholders.Pay rate:
$35/hrLocation: San Diego, CARoles & ResponsibilitiesThis position
has responsibility for:--- Reviewing contractual documents to
ensure adherence to company policy and guidelines,
government/commercial customer requirements, BIS export
classification requirements, and alignment with submitted
proposals.--- Accessing customer portals and processing electronic
purchase orders and transmittal through to appropriate
stakeholders.--- Reviewing, evaluating and interpreting contract
terms and conditions and identifying potential risk areas of
concern, providing guidance to stakeholders, and incorporating
revisions.--- Act as a point of contact for internal departments to
efficiently drive the contract review and approval process to
conclusion.--- Work directly with customers to negotiate and to
resolve a variety of open contractual issues.--- Completion of
customer and FAR/DFAR representations, certifications, and
compliance requests (e.g., Conflict Minerals, REACH/RoHS, Data
Privacy, Cyber Security, Export Compliance).--- Collaborating,
coordinating, and communicating effectively and professionally with
internal and external customers, partners, and stakeholders.---
Contacting customers and communicating results to responsible
departments as required.--- Working closely with company
distributors and account rep firms responding to inquiries.---
Support Special Projects as needed and completes all other duties
as assigned or requested for the general support of the
organization.Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)--- 5+
years experience in corporate contract administration and
management.--- Must have a thorough understanding of contract
principles, theories, concepts, and regulations, and demonstrated
broad application of these principles, practices, and standards.---
Basic understanding of export classification and export
licensing.--- Possesses excellent communications skills.
Effectively communicate via formal letters on complicated and
sensitive subjects, possess proper email skills, and possess
excellent verbal communication skills.--- Superior attention to
detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts.---
Self-starter, must be able to work independently, multitask and
prioritize workload, to meet demanding deadlines.--- Previous
experience as a project manager, or coordinating large projects is
an asset.--- Ability to apply lean principles to streamline
processes execution.--- Assist with policy and procedural
development and standardization of general terms and conditions.---
Analytical problem solver with strong business acumen.--- Proven
ability to quickly establish credibility, trust, and support within
all levels of organization.--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office,
including Word and Excel, required.--- Ability to work
overtime.Preferred Qualifications--- Contracts Certification
preferred.Education Requirements--- Associate degree: BS preferred
but not required.--- Equivalent work experience in lieu of

Pay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 PER HOUR
