have come to the right place. Job Summary Biological Dynamics is
seeking a Senior Research Associate I, Assay Development to work
onsite in San Diego, Ca. The Senior Research Associate I, Assay
Development is responsible for performing experiments to support
the design, development, verification, validation, and transfer
activities of assays and products utilizing the Company's
proprietary technology. Successful candidates will participate in
cross-functional projects across multiple departments: Research,
Manufacturing, Hardware & Software Engineering, Quality Control,
CLIA Lab Operations. This role provides the opportunity to
contribute to the future development and commercialization efforts
of our growing company.
- Performs experiments across multiple Assay Development projects
to support the company's product development objectives.
- Independently and in collaboration with senior colleagues:
- Plans and executes experiments under controlled laboratory
conditions.
- Documents experimental observations and results.
- Employs statistical techniques to analyze data and reach
conclusions.
- Communicates results, orally and in writing, to inform the
project's decisions.
- Troubleshoots issues in assay performance, laboratory
procedures, cartridge manufacturing, and other cross-functional
areas that are critical product development.
- Contributes to the maintenance of a safe and organized
laboratory workspace. Experience/Education/Skills
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience
and a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, or at least 1
year of relevant experience and a Master's degree; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on experience working with immunoassay reagents and
performing protein-based assays.
- Experience working with a variety of lab instrumentation (e.g.,
Luminex MagPix, Agilent Bioanalyzer, etc.)
- Solid understanding of the scientific method and design of
experiment principles.
- Proven ability to efficiently manage experiments and deliver
on-time results according to team priorities.
- Experience with data analysis in JMP, Excel or equivalent
software is required.
- Experience in cancer biology and/or exosomes is desirable. The
estimated base salary range for this role is: $70,000 - $75,000
annually. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors
including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications,
location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and
