Systems is looking for a an experienced, self-motivated ML/AI
developer to work on a multi-disciplinary Independent Research and
Development (IRaD) team in an Agile, fast-paced development
environment. The qualified candidate will perform ML/AI engineering
analysis, design, and development tasks in support of software
development of ML/AI applications. Assigned tasks include matching
ML/AI techniques to mission needs, selection of algorithm training
vs data sources, developing prototypes that meet mission needs,
working with customers and other team members, preparing user
interface mock-ups, preparing technical documentation in Jira and
confluence, generation of agile capabilities & user stories,
backlog prioritization and management, sprint planning, customer
engagement, to achieve IRaD objectives.This work requires access to

Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must have a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering/technical
discipline, and 6+ years related experience in ML/AI
development
- Domain experience related to IC missions
- Experience with data analysis as related to ML/AI training
concepts
- Experience with capabilities-level design of RESTful web
services
- Understanding of User Interface design and development
practices
- Experience working directly with customers and end users in the
DoD and/or Intelligence Community
- Experience with Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, etc.)
- Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be
productive in a dynamic/collaborative environmentPreferred

- Knowledge of open, standards-based architectures, interfaces
and geospatial data
- Proficient analyzing customer needs, and identifying user
stories and technical tasks to achieve various Agile objectives and
iterative development schedules
- Motivated self-starter with good problem solving skills,
judgment, and analytical capability
- Ability to develop improved methods to increase program
efficiency
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Good planning and organizational skillsPay InformationFull-Time
Salary Range: $140690 - $239140Please note: This range is based on
our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are
determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal
equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,
