Job Description:
A company is looking for a Data Governance Specialist to support
the Chief Data and Analytics Officer within the Defense Health
Agency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks,
policies, and procedures
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and
standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enforce data management
and governance principles
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business
Administration, Data Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data
management, or a related role
Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance
frameworks and policies
Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
and industry standards
Proficiency in data management tools and technologies
