SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for an Information Assurance Support Level--II at our--San Diego CA--location. Duties include but are not limited to: * The candidate shall provide technical expertise in managing information-related risks in enterprise architectures, acquisition strategies, testing and evaluation, and in achieving IA certification and accreditation. * The candidate shall assist in ensuring that fielded information systems/networks are defended to maintain integrity, availability, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation by applying appropriate safeguards. * The candidate shall create Information Assurance Strategy, examine JPEO CBD programs and system characteristics to determine whether compliance with DoD Directive 8500.1 is recommended or required, and whether an acquisition IA strategy is required. * The candidate shall ensure that each JPEO CBD program has an information assurance strategy that is consistent with DoD policies, standards, and architectures, to include relevant standards. * The candidate shall assist in the identification of Critical Program Information (CPI) in terms of their importance to the program being developed. * The candidate shall assist in the identification of foreign collection threat to the program and identify elements that require classification and determine the phases at which such classification should occur and the duration of such controls. * The candidate shall provide support for Development Test (DT), User Demonstration (UD), User Feedback Event (UFE), Operational Assessment (OA) and Operational Test (OT) events. * The candidate shall address each Critical Protection Information (CPI) as well as other relevant information requiring protection, including export-controlled information and sensitive but unclassified information. * The candidate shall document the program's overall IA requirements and approach, including the determination of the appropriate certification and accreditation process, contribute content for a Lifecycle Management Plans, create a Security Classification Guide, and assist in the development of Program Protection Plans (PPP). Education Requirements: * The candidate shall possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline, as well as eight (8) years of general experience and five (5) years of relevant experience. * Alternate/Tradeoff Education:-- The canddidate may possess an Associate's degree or Professional Certificate in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline, as well as ten (10) years of general experience and seven (7) years of relevant experience MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD CLEARANCE ; this will be verified prior to interview.
