Job Description:

A Production Planner job in San Diego, CA-- is available through Modis. Our client,-- is seeking a individual that is responsible for-- coordinating with Material Vendors, QA, Manufacturing and Sales/Marketing to ensure on time delivery of product to customers for both eCup and vCup operations. This includes having an in depth understanding of lead times and production capacities at various stages of the supply chain so that strategies to improve the overall supply chain can be implemented. Production Planner job responsibilities include: ----- -- Supervise and maintain daily production while resolving critical issues impacting regular production.----- ---- Continual improvement and streamlining of material flow, leading to various projects such as WIP format conversion, WIP remnants analysis, expiration dating changes, etc.-- -- ----- ---- Processing PD, UPDs, CRs and other documentation necessary to maintain production and product quality. Qualifications/Required Skills/Experience:-------Minimum education requirement is a bachelor's degree.----- Four years experience in production planning capacity or extensive knowledge of shop floor control in a lead or senior technical position. -------Working knowledge of MRPs and computerized inventory control system. -------Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
