So, if you want to make the world say wow, let's talk. Sony Electronics is seeking a Transportation Supervisor in the Logistics department. Job Responsibilities: Will be responsible for the direct and indirect administration of Sony North America freight claims. Cross functional coordination with internal and external parties Review declinations and amendments and take necessary actions Various reporting and KPI monitoring Act as liaison between 4PL and various internal and external parties to ensure proper procedures and Sony expectations are being met proactively Proof of delivery reporting and escalations OTM planning process meeting Sony's requirements Carrier capacity aligns to Sony's requirements Support Canadian and US ad-hoc shipment coordination Provide Logistics and Transportation support to internal and external customers Monitoring and reporting on shipments status events Monitor customer issues and analyze details to improve the customer experience Attend weekly/monthly customer compliance reviews and create process improvement plans as required Monitoring and reporting on KPIs and implement process improvements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors' degree required 3+ years working in the Transportation / Logistics industry Preferred Qualifications: Intimate knowledge of the transportation industry, conflict resolution skills, strong MS Office and data analysis skills Time management skills, project management experience, change management experience, ability to make decisions quickly Sony Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values employees with a broad cross-cultural perspective.
