Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Systems
Analyst (BSA) to join the Supply Chain and Procurement value stream
team within the ITS organization located in San Diego, CA. With
minimal oversight from leadership, this individual will play a
pivotal role as a liaison between the ITS technical teams and
various business partners in the supply chain, procurement, and
related cross-functional departments at GA and its affiliates. This
position requires technical aptitude, strong interpersonal
communication skills, and knowledge of business process and
strategy to work closely with end-users, business process analysts,
and leaders up to the senior executive level to facilitate
discovery efforts and interpret requirements, provide best practice
and innovative solution design recommendations, and to lead
implementations of and deliver on value-added, technology driven
solutions.
This role is specifically seeking individuals with SAP
Procure-to-Pay and related functional experience. Under limited
direction of the Value Stream Manager for Supply Chain &
Procurement, this individual would be responsible for the
following, but not limited to:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with business customers, from end-users to senior
executives, and the ITS technical teams to interpret needs into
system-driven outcomes.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, translate business
requirements into technical requirements, design and document
functional specifications, configure and unit test system
functionality and custom development in SAP MM and cross-functional
related modules.
- Develop test scripts and procedures and coordinate testing of
changes with appropriate business or technical process owners.
- Follow established change control procedures to move any
changes to Production
- Provide support and support changes for connected systems,
primarily SAP SNC (Supplier Network Collaboration) and SAP Ariba
Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP) and SAP Ariba Supplier Risk
Management.
- Provide support for other non-SAP systems implemented for our
procurement business customers, including Hyland OnBase (Enterprise
Content Management), Box with integration to Okta, and DocuSign
eSignatures.
- Research and resolve issues with Procurement, Materials
Management, Inventory Management, PR and PO custom workflows,
custom Supplier Performance solution in SAP, P2P/MM reporting in
BI, SNC, and Ariba.
- Work with process owners, functional analysts, and project team
members to blueprint and implement Procurement and Materials
Management functionality on SAP projects.
- Keep up-to-date with new SAP or non-SAP technologies and
recommend strong value proposition to the business from an
efficiency gains, improved user experience, metrics, etc.
- Ability to plan, manage, and lead multiple projects that are
cross-functional and technically complex in the capacity of a
project manager and solution lead as well as support and sustain
existing solutions

Job Qualifications:
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and ten or more years of
technical experience working with electronic purchasing and supply
chain systems or financial, quality, logistics, manufacturing, or
other business-related systems. Equivalent professional experience
may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Progressive experience working with SAP systems, including
experience in cross-functional business process mapping, system
configuration, and solution design. Highly recommend extensive
experience implementing and working with SAP P2P / MM
solutions.
- Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of SAP fundamentals
and techniques for customization opportunities.
- Must have experience in designing and developing or
coordinating the development of reports from business systems.
- Must have experience in evaluating new or upgraded relevant
software and hardware.
- Must be customer focused, able to gather and assess long-term
trends and emerging requirements and understand government
subcontracting and procurement principles.
- Must have good leadership skills including planning,
scheduling, and coordinating work assignments to meet project
milestones or established completion dates.
- Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and
apply them in an evolving environment while contributing to the
development of new processes.
- Must be customer focused and possess: (1) the ability to
identify and analyze issues and develop solutions to a variety of
highly complex and diverse problems; (2) excellent analytical,
verbal and written communication skills to accurately document,
report, and present findings; (3) excellent interpersonal skills to
interface with all levels of employees, management and external
contacts; (4) the ability to maintain the confidentiality of
sensitive information; and (5) excellent computer skills
(specifically with MS Products (Outlook, Excel, Project, Word,
PowerPoint, Visio, etc. is highly recommended).
- Must have the ability to work independently or in a team
environment, to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic work
environment, and to work extended hours as required.
