ADS is a leading supplier of Continuous Glucose Monitoring
supplies, insulin pumps, and pump supplies, as well as leading
brands of diabetes supplies and accessories. We are seeking a
Helpdesk technician to join our growing support efforts. If you
have a penchant for technology and are excited about joining a

Requirements:
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Day-to-day Helpdesk tasks may vary, on any
given day, depending on system or user needs. Helpdesk staff have
regular operations to perform but there will always be unexpected
issues that arise in a given day. As a result, they are often the
first point of contact and interaction, when a user faces system,
software, or hardware issues.Manage (prioritize), monitor, and
resolve Help Desk Ticket Requests in a timely, effective, and
efficient manner.Primarily (90% of time), responds to requests via
walk-up, phone, email, and chat.Maintain\support user PCs,
including upgrades and configuration, as needed.Responsible for
PC's, Printers, Servers and related equipment (monitor, keyboard,
mouse, hard drive, etc.).Provides technical assistance for problems
and questions.Identify\resolve network and related computer system
problems.Modify\install\upgrade software, to fix known\unknown
issues.Keep ongoing inventory/storage/waste of all end-user
equipment, peripherals, and devices, (including desk phones, parts,
and toner).Trains staff and customers on troubleshooting and
diagnosing problems.Complete follow-up with customers, to ensure
full resolution of issues.Remote access of customers hardware and
software to provide technical support.Document any\all customer
support interactions.Documents procedures\tasks\solutions as KB
articles.Assists hiring managers and HR staff with on-boarding of
hires.Assists in keeping designated work areas clean, orderly, and
free of clutter.Familiar (but not necessary) with Outlook, Edge,
Chrome, Fire-Fox, two-factor authentication, Remote Desktop
Protocol.Familiar with Active Directory (mainly account
management), remote access and management process (Barracuda MSP),
printers, printer operation, and printer support, VOIP telephony,
and soft phones.SkillsThe Helpdesk team triages incoming technical
issues and are patient task managers who know how to create or find
solutions to unexpected technical problems. They may work with
multiple people, teams, or departments, and need to communicate
effectively and take ownership of assigned tasks to ensure they are
completed appropriately and on time.Strong understanding of
computer operation, hardware, software, and operating system.Good
Customer Service skills, with an ability to communicate, both
orally and in writing, effectively.Effective writing and editing
skills to aid in updating documentation\procedures.Understand how
to troubleshoot problems and identify effective and efficient
solutions.Experience with troubleshooting, identifying, and
resolving computer technical issues.Specific understanding of
virtual environments, server\client model, and basic network
protocols.Microsoft Certified (preferred)A+ Certified
(preferred)Relevant experience working in a help desk
environmentAvailable to work regular, 8-hour days, 5 days a
week.Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10 OSDetail oriented in
order to keep detailed notes on ticketsHighly organized to keep
Help desk tickets orderAbility to think on your feet and
diagnose\resolve basic computer technical issues, often without any
preliminary information.Act as a team-player, by putting the team
or team-effort before one's own interests or agenda.Good work
ethic, commitment, and dedication to the job, as described.Ability
to commit, focus, and dedicate time and effort, until assigned
duties are completed, without being distracted.Ability to learn,
effectively, and knowing how to seek given assistance or
