around the United States including main offices in Wilton, CT,
Chandler, AZ, San Jose, CA and San Diego, CA (EUV laser source
creation).This position is an opportunity to investigate problems
seen by our many customers in the field.We are looking for someone
to complement our experienced team of engineers from the electrical
side of failure analysis.This role will be hands on troubleshooting
and investigating field reported failures to find root cause of
failures.This position requires access to controlled technology, as
defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. - 730,
et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access
such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business
demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are
immediately eligible to access controlled technology.Role and
responsibilitiesDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:This position is tasked
with performing failure analysis on all electronics related field
returns from Cymer customers.Performs data collection, statistical
analysis, and report summarization.Effectively reports problems
through written and/or graphical formats.Design experiments to test
theories and recreate failure modes.Use electrical testing and
diagnostic equipment to test and troubleshoot complex
electro-mechanical assemblies.Education and experienceBachelors
degree in electrical engineering or electronics technology or
equivalent experience in industry.Experience in digital and analog
circuit design.Knowledge of formal PCBA documentation (schematics,
PCB fabrication drawings, PCB assembly drawings) and PCB
layout.Experience with electronic bench-test equipment - DMM,
oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, pulse and signal generators, power
supplies, DC source/measure.Experience with National Instruments
LabView.Experience with embedded switch mode power design, motor
control, sensor systems and microcontroller/microprocessor
system.Hands on hardware troubleshooting experience with analog and
digital designs at board, module and system level is a
must.Experience with engineering test equipment - logic analyzers,
oscilloscopes, communication bus Requires experience using the
following software packages: OrCAD, PADS, Visio, Excel, LabVIEW, MS
Project, and Agile.Java, Visual Basic programming knowledge is
desired but not required.Experience with Pulsed Power and High
Voltage DC Power Supply design.Strong troubleshooting and test
