  • Coordinates the integration of data into clinical care platform to drive management of the Occupational Health programs within the merger and acquisition workspace
  • Analyzes benchmarking data, reports, processes, and measurements for merger and acquisition
  • Develops and documents complex business analysis and reporting requirements
  • Evaluates and prioritizes data changes and enhancements
  • Interprets data, facts and/or trends independently and makes business recommendations to management
  • Coordinates a variety of projects/requests simultaneously and ensures timely completion in accordance with business initiatives
  • Develops innovative approaches to achieve deliverables
  • Serves as the subject matter expert on vendor trends and behaviors as well as operational resource needs and performance
  • Develop appropriate quality reporting for Enterprise Health and Occupational Safety audit
  • Develop plans and programs to support the CQI processes and provide ongoing compliance and oversight.
  • Perform audit on existing processes to ensure compliance for the protection of our employees, preparedness for external audits, risk mitigation for potential OSHA complaints and coordinates associated reporting and communications.
  • Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise, on behalf of Enterprise Health and Occupational Safety.
  • Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others.
  • Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines.
  • Provides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise.
  • Create, utilize and follow P&P's daily to complete work.
  • Respond to work direction from outside the team and follow through on requests in a timely manner.
  • Share information across team members to increase overall team knowledge and understanding of concepts, and to ensure consistent application.
  • Create and utilize standard templates to ensure consistency when responding to requests. -
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of Enterprise Health and Occupational Safety Policies and Procedures, -
  • Act as a technical resource to others.
  • Solves complex problems on own; proactively identifies new solutions to problems.
  • Plans, prioritizes, organizes and completes work to meet established objectives.
  • Identify the business impact of system / application changes, using appropriate tools as needed
  • Provides guidance in the use of Process Improvement / Lean Six Sigma methods
  • Establish links between business strategies and process improvement initiatives
  • Serve as an internal expert on Process Improvement tools and techniques focusing on Lean Six Sigma
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with management, process owners and process operators to define, establish, and document business requirements -
  • Facilitate the identification, prioritization, and selection of process improvement initiatives
  • Document existing business processes by working with department business analysts, managers, and other subject matter experts in partnership with leadership
  • Identify essential functions, input drivers, and deliverables required to achieve department goals
  • Formulate and document proposed future state using Lean/Six Sigma techniques
  • Drive change management to job aids, training materials, software to eliminate non-essential functions and reduce waste
  • Propose recommendations for transitioning to improved processes along with quantifiable projected results -
  • Perform failure trending and analysis on key performance metrics
  • Acts as a change agent to instill Lean Six Sigma culture throughout the organization
  • Create action plans to detail the actionable items to close the gaps identified in the new business' comparison to UHG's program -
  • Provide oversight and direction of the action plans until all plans are fully executed
  • Provide continuous quality improvement of the Program based on the audit plan and the evolving new business requirements

Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field OR Associate Degree with 5+ years of managed care experience handling large data sets
    • 2+ years occupational health experience or public health experience
    • 2+ years of experience in business/finance including analysis experience with a solid understanding of data storage structures
    • 2+ years of experience with project methodology including but not limited to: requirements, design, development, test, implementation, gathering and documenting requirements from the client/business
    • 2+ years of experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test and implementation) -
    • 2+ years of demonstrated history of operational excellence and process improvement implementation using Lean Six Sigma methods and organizational change activities
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, v look ups, filtering, sorting, creating/editing spreadsheets, graphs, charts)
    • Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and providing an evaluation, benchmark and/or process improvement recommendations
    • Willing and able to travel 25-50% of the time

      • Six Sigma Green/Yellow Belt certification or training

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
