Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 - Rancho Bernardo, CA (F005) - Penta (S04002) Northrop Grumman is looking for a Supply Chain Program Manager that is responsible and accountable for the execution of material, services, supplier strategy and relations for the Global Hawk Program. This position will be responsible for coordinating with program management, suppliers, GSC functional teams and customer base for all of supply chain related activities. Will also ensure that the supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers. Responsible for the Risk & Issue management, Cost Account Management (CAM) and budget oversight, process efficiencies and development through all phases of the program. Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, and make/buy plans. Leads supply chain Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution. Briefs the Program Management Team and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance. This position will be worked out of the San Diego, CA facility with an hybrid work option. Responsibilities Include: Develops, integrates, and provides visibility to the Global Supply Chain Production execution objectives and plans
Identifies strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations.
Provides planning and integration for the proposal process within Global Supply Chain
Responsibility and oversight for material & labor budget performance
Ability to lead team comprised of technical, quality, financial and supplier management personnel
Collaborates across all Supply Chain functions to ensure cohesiveness and team goals are achieved
Managing complex problems and providing attainable solutions. Regularly interfaces with high level leadership and has experience holding stakeholders accountable.
Develops subcontract specifications, statement of work for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. Basic Qualifications: Must have a bachelor's degree AND 7+ years OR a Master's degree AND 5+ years of experience that includes a background in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Program/Business Management and/or related field
Experience with supply chain operations with demonstrated and proven leadership skills and ability to effectively collaborate at all levels
Experience with FAR and DFARS and/or similar environments supporting programs that range from research & development to full rate production
Experience in leading a process, project, or a team
Background in government acquisitions
Experience in aerospace/defense industry
Solid understanding of the Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) procurement system, Supplier Scorecards and performance management,
Ability to prepare and present to senior level leadership Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business or Related field
Experience managing multi-million-dollar programs
Strong Organization, Attention to detail and leadership characteristics
Understanding of NG Principles and Operating Practices, and metric analysis
Leadership experience
CAM certification
SMT Experience Salary range: $130,500 - $195,700 Salary Range: $130,500 USD - $195,700 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
