Description:
The NCMS HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining
the organization's HRIS applications and modules. The HRIS
Analyst's tasks include generating scheduled and ad hoc reports,
tracking metrics and acting as lead for HRIS related
implementations. The HRIS Analyst will work within the scope of
responsibilities as dictated below with guidance and support from

Carlsbad, CA Essential Functions --- Oversees and maintains optimal
function of the HRIS, which will include installation,
customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade of
applications, systems, and modules.--- Manages projects and process
improvement, including applying change management experience to
facilitate movement to new levels of quality. --- Takes action that
is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable
consequences. Uses this data to build project plans and ensure
adherence to schedule and other specifications.--- Works with
various peers to accomplish project goals.--- Provides technical
support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.---
Collaborates with leadership and HR staff to identify system
improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements
solutions.--- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and
similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.--- Generates
reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a
variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting
tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing
needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries
and analyzing data.--- Compiles or assists with the acquisition of
complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and
HR staff.--- Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR,
information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for
HRIS design and implementation projects.--- Ensures system
compliance with data security and privacy requirements.---
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers,
vendors, and technology--- Complies with HIPAA rules, appropriately
safeguarding PHI or other private & confidential information.---
Adapts quickly to frequent process changes and improvements.--- Is
reliable, engaged, and provides feedback as to improve processes
and policies.--- Attends all department, team, and company meetings

Requirements:
--- High School diploma or equivalent--- 2+ years of experience
working within an HR department--- Thorough understanding of
databases and experience with multiple HRIS databases/systems,
including Paylocity--- Working knowledge of general HR functions
and terminology--- Proficient with or ability to quickly learn
systems and software used by the organization--- Advanced level of
MS Office proficiency, to include Excel and OutlookExpected
Competencies--- Friendly, professional, and effective
communications skills; able to calmly present solutions in
challenging situations--- Professional verbal and written
communication skills, including interpersonal skills with a
demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team--- Effective
analytical and problem-solving skills--- Familiarity with HR
