seeking Engineering Technicians for Vertical Launch System (VLS)
In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) support. We are seeking
candidates for this role in the following locations: -San Diego,
CA, Norfolk, VA, Woodlake, VA, Bremerton, WA, Rota, Spain,
Honolulu, HI, and Yokosuka, Japan.As the top ranked defense

upon contract award.**What You Will DoThe Engineer Technician will
provide lifecycle and systems integration support and perform
adjustments, refurbishment, overhaul, upgrades, inspections, and
component testing of the MK41 Vertical Launch System. Work will be
performed both CONUS and OCONUS aboard Ticonderoga Class Guided
Missile Cruisers (CG 47) and Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missile
Destroyers (DDG 51), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) ships.
Additionally, services will be performed at shore sites, land-based
test/ tactical facilities, training commands shipyards, and aboard
ships in-port and at-sea for the U.S.A., Allied Nations, and FMS
customers.What You Must HaveBasic knowledge and understanding of
analog and digital circuitries, able to trace electronic signals
using schematics, and block diagrams.Ability to travel 4-5 weeks
and up to 3-6 months at a time. Longer shipyard periods of 3-6
months are a possibility, although rare.Must be a self-starter,
ability to consistently deliver at a high level with minimum
supervision and maintain continuous communications with peers and
senior management.Ability to negotiate through conflicting demands
for resources and manage time to drive overall organizational
success.Good analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving
skills.Ability to work in a shipyard industrial environment, able
to traverse ladders, and stairwells onboard ships and in dry docks.
-Should be prepared to successfully pass the 10-week VLS In-Service
Engineering Agent (ISEA)/Fleet Service Representative (FSR) course,
complete the VLS Personnel Certification Program, and obtain System
Maintenance Certification (SMT) as a condition to continued
employment.Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving
record.Must have a valid passport or the ability to obtain a
passport.Must be able and willing to work outside in adverse
weather conditions.Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up
to 50 lbs.Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET
clearance.High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, and
2 years of related experience. -Bonus Points For...Highly preferred
