across the U.S in over 25 states!Position Overview: The -Sales
-consultant is responsible for prospecting and developing sales
relationships with potential clients and closing new and expanded
sales agreements. The -consultants at Global Tech Corp systems work
in a -small and fast-paced business environment that is very
competitive and quota-driven. The company targets small to
medium-sized businesses in the Midwest market. The best Sales
-consultants are hunters; they are capable of creating their own
activity in the field and are constantly looking for that next
sale. A strong predictor of success for a -consultant is someone
who incorporates a consultative approach to their sales technique,
has exceptional good prospective skills, ability to be persistent
but not pushy and has a passion for what is being sold!Performance
Objectives: Our -corporate sales -office is based in Arlington
Heights, Illinois. However, we are looking for -Sales -Consultants
in all states and will have a territory in your state.A one-week
training period will commence immediately upon starting at Global
Tech. The training program includes a combination of sales field
training under our sales team and Global Tech -payroll knowledge
training with our sales trainer. Upon completion you should have a
foundation of knowledge about the solutions Global Tech -offers,
the industry and our competitors.
- Determine prospective customers needs for payroll, Human
Resources, unemployment and other services and, using persuasion
and negotiation, present Global Tech -services that meet those
needs.
- Prepare and present proposals and provide appropriate follow-up
throughout the sales process.
- Close the sales process.
- Complete and obtain documentation required for the conversion
of data from their previous payroll provider to the Global Tech
Corp systems system. Work directly with internal departments to
insure the client has a smooth transition to their new payroll
provider.
- Maintain contact with existing customers to determine needs for
additional services.
- Using initiative, develop prospects through cold calling,
referrals, professional and personal contacts and other
sources.
- Attend trade shows, conferences and other events to promote
Global Tech -services.
- Ability to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota for
your territory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
- 2-5 years experience in a quota-driven sales position
- Previous experience in the payroll/HR industry required
- Proven ability with sales prospecting and closing
- Ability to succeed in a competitive environment
- Ability to persuade and negotiate potential clients of the
benefits of using our services
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills required in order
to handle objections and unexpected situations that might arise
throughout the sales cycle
- Customer service orientation - the client ALWAYS comes
first!
- Strong presentation skills to effectively represent Global Tech
-and allow the client to visualize the benefits of using our
services
- Written and oral communication skills
- Listening skills to probe further into the clients needs and
expectations
- Organizational skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet;
experience with sales automation software desirable
